The **Finance & Accounting Manager** will be instrumental in establishing a top-tier finance department, enhancing the utilization of Microsoft Business Central ERP, and increasing transparency in our financial performance.
Responsibilities of the Finance & Accounting Manager:
- Supervise daily accounting operations in accordance with GAAP and internal guidelines.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Guarantee precise and prompt completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and performance evaluations.
- Create tailored reports that shed light on KPIs and operational trends.
- Convert financial data into practical recommendations for senior leadership.
- Act as the primary ERP authority and the key liaison with our outsourced IT service provider.
- Enhance ERP utilization, ensure the integrity of data, and conduct training for internal users.
- Supervise system troubleshooting, upgrades, and process enhancements.
- Design and implement cost accounting protocols and systems.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to refine pricing and costing methods.
- Evaluate margins and enhance product-level profitability.
- Work alongside the President on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
- Assist in cash flow assessments and scenario analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives for growth.
Qualifications for the Finance & Accounting Manager:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA/CMA is highly desirable).
- Over 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or technology hardware sectors.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively across departments.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to detect discrepancies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with all team members effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience within the industry.
