The Detention Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and management of inmates at the Burleigh County Detention Center. Key responsibilities involve monitoring inmate activities, carrying out investigations, overseeing the processing of inmates, and ensuring the overall security of the facility through various shifts. To qualify, candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, along with a valid driver’s license. It is essential for applicants to successfully complete a criminal background check, physical assessment, and psychological evaluation, with no felony convictions on their record.
