Epic Radiant Testing Coordinator

The Epic Radiant Testing Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the complete testing and quality assurance process for an Epic Radiant implementation project. This position ensures that all testing initiatives are effectively planned, executed, monitored, and reported, contributing to a successful system launch and transition to live operation. The coordinator collaborates intimately with clinical, technical, and operational teams to guarantee that system functionality and workflow integration meet quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities of the Epic Radiant Testing Coordinator:

  • Oversee and direct all testing functions related to the Epic Radiant implementation, covering unit testing, integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and preparing for system go-live.
  • Create, oversee, and keep up-to-date comprehensive testing plans, test cases, test timelines, and defect management systems.
  • Act as the main liaison for all testing and quality assurance activities among project participants.
  • Facilitate testing coordination across various stakeholder groups and workstreams.
  • Monitor testing progress, pinpoint risks or challenges, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle using established tools and methodologies.
  • Assist in validating workflows, enhancing processes, and preparing end-users.
  • Provide support during off-hours testing or when the system goes live as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, security protocols, and Epic’s best practices.

Qualifications for the Epic Radiant Testing Coordinator:

  • Demonstrable experience as an Epic Testing Coordinator on at least three substantial Epic implementation projects.
  • Strong background in Epic implementation initiatives.
  • Proven expertise in coordinating testing and quality assurance in complex healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an aptitude for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with Epic Radiant implementation, including design, building, testing, and providing support.
  • Epic certification in any module.
  • Experience in workflow analysis and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with planning and supporting go-live activities.
