Job Summary
The Sr. IT Applications Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing software applications to meet the organization’s needs. This role requires advanced programming skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met through technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new software applications based on user requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and document business needs.
- Ensure application integrity and security through effective coding practices.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of applications to resolve issues.
- Provide ongoing technical support and training to users.
- Stay updated with the latest technological trends and apply them as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an applications programmer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to the position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
