Shift: Night Shift, 7 PM – 7 AM (36 hours/week)
Weekly Gross: $1872
Job Overview:
We are looking to add a skilled Med-Surg/Telemetry Nurse to our team at the Barberton facility. The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in telemetry alongside hands-on experience in diverse medical patient care, particularly in cardiovascular and neurological areas. Applicants must demonstrate competence in ACLS, BLS, and NIH protocols. You will be responsible for managing patients who need telemetry observation and other specialized services such as progressive care treatments, which include medication administration and routine NIH evaluations.
Unit Details:
- 24-bed Med-Surg/Tele unit.
- Predominantly focused on the care of medical patients requiring telemetry surveillance.
- The patient demographic encompasses cardiovascular, neurological, and isolation cases (e.g., COVID-19).
- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5/6.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Experience with Epic software.
