Job description
Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician role entails performing imaging procedures and supporting diagnostic efforts through radiology. This position is essential for the accurate assessment and treatment of patients in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct X-Ray imaging procedures as requested by physicians.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during all imaging processes.
- Maintain equipment functionality, reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to radiology.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain patient records and imaging files in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid certification in Radiologic Technology.
- State licensure as required for X-Ray Technicians.
- Strong understanding of radiological procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
