**Job Title: Streets Technician II**
The Streets Technician II plays a crucial role in the upkeep, repair, and installation of street infrastructure, drainage systems, and public right-of-ways. This position requires the operation of specialized machinery, as well as executing tasks involving asphalt and concrete. Additionally, the technician will need to respond to emergencies outside of regular hours, including situations related to snow, ice, and flooding. Candidates are expected to possess a high school diploma or GED and must be able to acquire a Colorado CDL Class B driver’s license within six months of employment. Relevant experience in public works construction or maintenance, along with proficiency in operating heavy equipment, is essential for success in this role.
