Job description

Job Summary

The Locksmith I position is essential for providing a variety of locksmith services aimed at ensuring security and access management within the designated area. This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing locks, key systems, and other security measures, adhering to both safety standards and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain various types of locking mechanisms.
  • Provide emergency lockout services and respond to security breaches.
  • Cut and duplicate keys accurately as per specifications.
  • Conduct assessments of existing locking systems to recommend upgrades or replacements.
  • Maintain inventory of locksmith materials and tools for effective service delivery.
  • Document all service performed and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training in locksmithing preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic and mechanical locking systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities to interact with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including potentially adverse weather conditions.
