Warehouse Coordinator
Walton Hills, OH
Pay Rate: $23-24/HR
Shift: Monday -Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm The Warehouse Coordinator role is focused on managing shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading freight with a tow motor, building and preparing pallets for shipment, staging materials for production, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The position involves overseeing the flow of materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, and supporting production needs. Candidates will also be responsible for organizing and cleaning the warehouse, managing inventory control, and assisting with safety procedures and team collaboration. It’s a hands-on role that ensures smooth warehouse operations and supports overall production efficiency. Warehouse Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Loading outbound freight and unloading and counting inbound freight with a tow motor.
- Building and preparing pallets for shipping
- Staging material from production for shipment
- Loading materials into silo storage from bulk trucks
- Loading and unloading full and partial shipments
- Handle all shipping and receiving
- Staging and preparing materials for the following week of production
- Checking production orders
- Manage return to stock materials
- Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the warehouse
- Training will include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes
- Inventory control – end of week and year-end
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management
Warehouse Coordinator Qualifications:
- Tow motor driving
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Proficient at basic math
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Strong time management skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to use hand tools such as hammers, circular saw, table saw, band saw, and nail gun
- Must have worked in a general warehouse setting
- Follow written safety procedures
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Overtime may be needed at times
Education Requirements
- High school diploma/GED minimum
- Forklift certification a plus
- Basic computer skills are a plus
