Job description
Job Summary
The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal operation and reliability of equipment and facilities. This role involves performing complex repairs, preventive maintenance, and providing technical support to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to identify issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, electrical components, and other critical machinery.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain records of all work completed.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to resolve maintenance challenges.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and skills to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial or mechanical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
