Warehouse Worker
Location: Solon, OH
Pay: $18/hour
We are looking for a dedicated and diligent Packaging & Materials Handler to become a part of our Packaging Department in Solon, Ohio. This position plays a vital role in aiding packaging functions through material management, product packaging, inventory assistance, and production line operations. Responsibilities may vary among team members depending on the requirements of daily production.
Warehouse Worker Duties
- Manage, store, move, and transfer both raw materials and finished goods
- Package products in accordance with company and customer guidelines
- Ensure a sufficient supply of containers, cartons, labels, and various packaging materials
- Prepare, modify, and operate packaging and production lines
- Safely utilize lift trucks/forklifts for loading and unloading shipments and relocating materials within the facility
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational protocols
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the packaging area
- Support additional production or warehouse tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager
Warehouse Worker Requirements
- Proven experience operating lift trucks/forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow both written and verbal directions
- Reliable attendance and excellent teamwork abilities
- Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to manage drums, bags, and pails
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
