Job Summary

The CNC Machinist for the 2nd Shift is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This position involves setting up machines, programming, and executing machining operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Program CNC machines based on required designs.
  • Monitor machine operations for quality control and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain equipment by performing regular cleaning and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
  • Document all relevant production data and report any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiar with measuring tools and machining techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical education is a plus.
