Job Summary
The Line Technician III for SMT is essential for overseeing and enhancing production processes within the manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all production operations run efficiently, adhering to the established standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain production line equipment, ensuring optimal operation.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve any technical challenges.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment handling and safety protocols.
- Document issues and solutions in line with company protocols to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of SMT production processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
