The Patient Care Assistant plays a crucial role in aiding licensed nursing professionals by delivering direct care to patients, overseeing their condition, and helping them with daily living activities. This position also involves performing clerical tasks and ensuring constant observation for patients who need safety oversight. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and should have a relevant certification, such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or similar clinical training. A strong understanding of fundamental clinical skills and experience with computerized documentation are essential, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
