Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and document and communicate changes in patient condition. Coordinate care across disciplines, carry out physician and nursing orders, and support discharge planning with the healthcare team. Applicants must hold an active Alabama registered nurse license before hire and have a nursing diploma from an accredited school or college. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, and Advanced Life Support certification is required within 180 days; certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are accepted.
