Develop and apply physics-based models to predict the performance and lifetime of fuel and core structural components under extreme conditions. Collaborate with mechanical design, neutronics, and thermal hydraulics teams to translate modeling results into actionable design guidance and operating limits. Requires a degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field with strong grounding in material behavior and numerical modeling. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. persons and be willing to work on-site in Austin, TX or Idaho Falls, ID.
