Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the EP Laboratory, commonly referred to as the Cath Lab, for a contract position in Cleveland, OH. The role spans a duration of 13 weeks, commencing on December 6, 2026, and concluding on March 6, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the Cath Lab environment.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Document patient information and care activities accurately.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Verification of a valid nursing license/certificate.
- Completed immunization records including MMR and Hepatitis B.
- Fit Test certification for N95 respirators.
- Current Tdap immunization.
- Completion of UHS I-9 Attestation and Ohio Fingerprints requirements.
- Confirmation of education and prior employment by UHS.
- Ability to pass UHS competency exams and complete crucial health statements.
- Influenza vaccination record.
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
- Clearance of two-step PPD or IGRA testing (Quantiferon/Tspot).
- Submission of UHS related documentation and background checks, including drug screening.
- UHS badge photo and completion of necessary training modules.
