Job Summary
Adventist Health is on the lookout for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team in Woodbridge, California. This position is essential in facilitating cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries by ensuring a well-prepared operating room, maintaining an organized supply of sterile instruments, and proactively supporting the surgical team to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
- Organize and ensure the availability of sterile surgical instruments and supplies.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and assist them during operations.
- Contribute to delivering safe and effective care within a mission-driven healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Experience in a surgical environment, particularly in cardiovascular procedures, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused and faith-based environment.
