Job description
The role of the Registered Respiratory Therapist involves assessing and treating patients experiencing respiratory issues by creating and executing customized care plans. This position includes the ongoing observation of patient statuses, the administration of therapies and medications, and involvement in life-saving resuscitation procedures during emergencies. Applicants should possess a Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC as well as a Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license. A minimum of a high school diploma accompanied by two years of experience or an associate/technical degree is essential, in addition to holding a BLS certification.
