Design, build, and maintain mechanical and vacuum systems for compact fusion devices. Collaborate with physicists and engineers to implement experimental hardware from concept through testing and iteration. Requires a B.S. degree or higher in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 2-5 years of hands-on experience. Candidates must be U.S. persons and possess strong skills in CAD, vacuum systems, and thermal management.
