Job Summary
The selected candidate will focus on the design, simulation, and characterization of integrated photonic components tailored for an optical I/O product roadmap. This position involves establishing the design infrastructure, participating in tape-outs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturability and performance specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and simulate integrated photonic components within the optical I/O product framework.
- Characterize components to validate their performance against specified targets.
- Develop and maintain design infrastructure to support ongoing projects.
- Engage in tape-out processes to ensure successful transitions from design to manufacturing.
- Work collaboratively across teams to align on manufacturability and performance criteria.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in silicon photonics.
- Strong knowledge of photonic device physics and relevant simulation tools.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
