Job Summary
The designer will focus on the creation of mechanical designs and drawings by utilizing NX1980 and Teamcenter, ensuring adherence to GD&T standards. A key aspect of this position involves working closely with the engineering team to assess design solutions and select appropriate components for a range of accelerator and magnet projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs and detailed drawings using NX1980 and Teamcenter.
- Implement GD&T standards in all designs.
- Coordinate with engineering staff to evaluate design options and specify project components.
- Contribute to various accelerator and magnet projects by providing technical expertise.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality work products in alignment with project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a design role.
- Proficient in using Solidworks or NX design software.
- Strong ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T standards.
