Job Summary
The hospital located in Boston is on the lookout for a qualified Surgical Technologist to join their dynamic operating room team. This role involves a commitment to either a 40-hour or 36-hour rotating schedule, with a focus on providing essential support during surgical procedures and assisting with pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Responsibilities
- Support surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the sterile field for surgeries.
- Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Provide care to patients in the peri-operative setting, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons and nurses during procedures.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in the operating room.
Qualifications
- Experience in an operating room setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in sterile technique.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is advantageous.
