Job Summary
The role entails overseeing various civil land development initiatives, managing aspects such as budgets, timelines, quality control, client interactions, proposal submissions, and collaboration with regulatory agencies. This position also involves guiding and mentoring engineering personnel while ensuring the effective design of grading, drainage, water quality systems, utilities, roadways, sewage systems, and water pipelines. Additionally, this position supports business growth within the Inland Empire region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee civil land development projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage project proposals.
- Coordinate with jurisdictional agencies to meet regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams in project execution and design.
- Supervise the design processes for various civil engineering components, including utilities and drainage systems.
- Support business development efforts in the Inland Empire.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- California Professional Engineer license.
- A minimum of 15 years of civil engineering experience with an emphasis on land development.
- At least 5 years of supervisory and project management experience.
- Proven track record in team leadership and mentorship.
- Strong knowledge of land development design and improvement plan approvals in the Inland Empire.
- Experience in client management and business development strategies.
