Job Summary
The role involves delivering non-medical in-home care services to elderly clients. This includes providing personal care, companionship, preparing meals, assisting with light housekeeping, aiding mobility, and reminding clients to take their medications. The primary objective is to support clients in maintaining their independence and routines while being attentive to any changes in their needs and promptly communicating these to the CareWorks team.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and companionship to seniors.
- Prepare meals according to clients’ dietary needs.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks as required.
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities.
- Remind clients to take their medications punctually.
- Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the CareWorks team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six months of caregiving experience, including non-professional settings.
- Ability to complete a Live Scan background screening and obtain Home Care Aide registration.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to clients’ locations.
- Demonstrated strong communication abilities.
- Exhibit compassion, dependability, and professionalism in all interactions.
