Job Summary
The Water Treatment Plant Operator II or III will be responsible for engaging in specialized technical and maintenance tasks related to the operation, upkeep, and repair of water treatment facilities. This role is essential for ensuring the effective management and quality of water supplies in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the operation of water treatment equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance and necessary repairs on plant apparatus.
- Monitor and interpret data from gauges and charts pertinent to treatment processes.
- Document and analyze statistical data regarding water quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- For Operator II: Must have a high school diploma or GED along with three years of relevant experience, or one year of applicable experience following high school education.
