Job Summary
The Corporate Fleet Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s fleet operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role involves coordinating with various departments and vendors to maintain a reliable fleet that meets business needs while adhering to safety regulations and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the fleet to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life.
- Manage fleet procurement including the evaluation and selection of vehicles based on organizational requirements.
- Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures aimed at improving operational efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor fuel usage and expenses, implementing strategies for cost reduction.
- Analyze fleet data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams to optimize vehicle assignments.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Prepare reports for management to communicate fleet performance and cost metrics.
