Job Summary
The OR Registered Nurse position is now available in Germantown, Maryland. This role is centered on providing exceptional nursing care in the operating room environment. The selected candidate will be part of a healthcare team at Holy Cross Hospital and will engage in surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Assist in surgical procedures and collaborate with the surgical team.
- Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and recovery.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid RN license.
- Experience in a surgical or operating room nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
