Job Summary
The Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse is dedicated to delivering specialized nursing care to pediatric patients preparing for surgical procedures. This role involves essential functions that ensure the safety and well-being of young patients undergoing surgery.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative care to pediatric patients, ensuring they are well-prepared for surgery.
- Assist with the positioning of patients and manage their condition throughout surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending medical personnel.
- Serve as both a circulating and/or scrub nurse in accordance with facility protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
- Experience in a pediatric operating room setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
