Job description
**Journeyman Linemen** are tasked with constructing and upholding electrical power systems while ensuring service is restored to a variety of customers. Their responsibilities include setting poles, splicing cables, switching at substations, and handling heavy machinery in various weather conditions. Applicants should have successfully finished an approved federal or state line worker apprenticeship and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electric line utility. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid Class A driver’s license and be able to reside within 40 minutes of the Augusta Service Center.
