Job Summary
The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures in an outpatient setting. This role involves executing high-quality imaging protocols, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment functionality.
Responsibilities
- Administer MRI scans while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure optimal results.
- Monitor patient well-being during imaging and provide necessary support.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to guarantee its proper operation.
- Document imaging processes and patient information accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
- Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and safety procedures.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well with patients and staff.
- Prior experience in an outpatient MRI setting is preferred.
