Job Summary
The caregiver is tasked with supporting residents in their daily routines, facilitating personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance, all while upholding their comfort and dignity. This role also involves monitoring resident health and promptly communicating any changes to the nursing supervisor, alongside adhering to infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including but not limited to bathing and dressing.
- Support residents with transfers and mobility issues.
- Maintain residents’ comfort and dignity throughout the caregiving process.
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health conditions to the nursing supervisor.
- Follow infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Must hold current First Aid and CPR certification from either the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
- Preferred prior experience of at least one year in a caregiving role.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background is desirable.
