Job Summary
The position of MS/TELE RN focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units. This role is critical in monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure effective treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care procedures.
- Document patient progress and care provided in medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
- Experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry nursing role preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications may be required.
