Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist – PRN is responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients with a variety of communication disorders. This position involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Design and implement individualized therapy interventions based on patient needs.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on communication disorders and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for therapy practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
