Job Summary
The technician will focus on the execution of weld preparation, welding, and the visual inspection of gas turbine airfoil components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications. In addition to these duties, they will be responsible for managing equipment upkeep, maintaining quality documentation, and fabricating welding fixtures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and execute welding processes on gas turbine airfoil components.
- Conduct visual inspections to verify compliance with technical specifications.
- Oversee the maintenance of welding equipment and ensure optimal functionality.
- Manage and uphold quality documentation related to welding processes.
- Fabricate welding fixtures to support production requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Must possess certification in TIG and MIG welding.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in production or maintenance roles is required.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with Ni-base or Ni-Cr alloys is necessary.
