Job description
The electrician plays a key role in the installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical power distribution systems and control devices throughout the hospital. Responsibilities also include conducting routine preventive maintenance and testing of emergency equipment to meet JCAHO compliance standards. Applicants should have at least three years of experience in a hospital setting or a similar field and must hold a City of Pittsburgh Electrician License. A diploma from a technical or trade school is advantageous, along with the capability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
