The operator’s primary role involves the safe cutting and sawing of castings in accordance with specified protocols. It is also essential for them to keep the equipment in good working order and to maintain a tidy and organized sawing area. Applicants should possess previous experience operating vertical band saws along with the capability to read and understand technical drawings. A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required for this position.
