Job Summary
The Murfreesboro Medical Clinic is in search of a PRN Sterile Processing Technician to manage the reprocessing of surgical instruments and prepare them for sterilization. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the operating room teams by following established standards and maintaining the integrity of sterilization processes.
Responsibilities
- Reprocess surgical instruments and ensure they are properly packaged for sterilization.
- Assist the operating room (OR) teams by providing necessary support.
- Adhere to AAMI and other applicable standards in all processes.
- Maintain accurate sterilization records to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience in sterile processing or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of AAMI standards and regulations related to instrument sterilization.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise protocols.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with OR teams.
