Job Summary
The engineer will be responsible for offering on-site assistance for semiconductor metrology systems by executing installations, performing repairs, and addressing technical issues. This position also serves as the main point of contact between the manufacturing facility and clients, overseeing system performance metrics and organizing service-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide installation and repair services for semiconductor metrology systems.
- Resolve technical challenges and perform troubleshooting activities.
- Act as the primary communication link between the factory operations and customers.
- Manage and analyze system performance data.
- Coordinate various service activities to ensure optimal customer support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or capital equipment support.
- Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate system performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interactions.
- Willingness to travel internationally for at least 30% of the year.
