Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Internal Medicine department on a per diem basis. This position is located at our medical center in New York, New York, and is entirely onsite. As part of our health team, you will contribute to a comprehensive range of patient care activities, supported by sophisticated medical services including imaging and laboratory facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient assessments and manage care for individuals in the Internal Medicine department.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Interpret and act upon various diagnostic results including lab tests and imaging.
- Participate in the Clinical Decision Initiative (CDI) to enhance patient outcomes.
- Document medical histories and develop treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in Internal Medicine or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and patient management skills.
