Job Summary
The role involves establishing and overseeing a top-tier Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization focused on enhancing Okta’s production systems and new product offerings. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure leaders worldwide to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure services, emphasizing automation and contemporary infrastructure practices.
Responsibilities
- Build a competent SRE organization to effectively support Okta’s production environments.
- Collaborate with international engineering and infrastructure teams to enhance service resilience.
- Drive the implementation of scalable and secure solutions in alignment with business needs.
- Promote the use of automation to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Advance modern infrastructure methodologies within the organization.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in site reliability or infrastructure engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in technical leadership and managing teams.
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architectures, particularly with Kubernetes.
- Strong skills in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to facilitate software deployment and integration.
