Job description
The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for establishing and enhancing the manufacturing and integration processes for battery cells, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This role will involve guiding the development and validation of battery suppliers as well as automated assembly systems from the New Product Introduction (NPI) stage to full-scale production. Ideal candidates should have over three years of experience in battery or electromechanical manufacturing settings, with a strong knowledge of lithium-ion cell production. Expertise in creating manufacturing processes, conducting failure mode analysis, and understanding battery safety regulations is essential.
