Job Summary
The Investment Research Analyst is responsible for performing in-depth fundamental analysis on issuers of leveraged loans and high-yield bonds to inform buy and sell recommendations. This role also includes the development of financial models, oversight of current investments, and teamwork with the investment team to enhance portfolio construction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of leveraged loan and high yield bond issuers.
- Generate buy and sell recommendations based on research findings.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities.
- Monitor performance of existing investment positions.
- Collaborate with the investment team in portfolio management and construction efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit investing, particularly with high-yield and leveraged loans.
- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
