Job Summary

ProSidian is in search of a Mechanical Engineer specializing as a Construction Discipline Engineer (CDE) in Mechanical, specifically for field engineering roles located in Aiken, South Carolina. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering principles within the construction sector, ensuring effective project execution and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate mechanical system installations and operations on-site.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines including piping, electrical, civil, and instrumentation teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues that arise during various project phases.
• Engage with project stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve engineering concerns.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, or an Associate’s degree with applicable experience.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry is highly desired.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and quality standards in engineering practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices as related to mechanical engineering projects.
