Administer prescribed oral, topical, and rectal medications according to physician orders and company policy, and accurately document each administration. Monitor residents for adverse reactions or changes in status, maintain medication safety and confidentiality, follow infection control procedures, and promptly report medication errors to the Charge Nurse. Applicants must hold a current Texas Medication Aide certification and have experience and competence in medication administration procedures. They should communicate clearly and demonstrate patience, discipline, professionalism, attention to detail, and accurate documentation.
