Supplemental Health Care is seeking skilled First Assist, OR Registered Nurses for premier hospital contracts in Jackson, Kentucky. This position offers the flexibility to either travel or remain local while providing essential support during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance during surgical operations under the supervision of licensed surgeons.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care.
- Assist in managing medical equipment and instrumentation during procedures.
- Adhere to all departmental protocols and standards in the operating room.
Qualifications
- Current license as a Registered Nurse required.
- Experience in the operating room setting, specifically as a First Assist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
