Job description
The Medical Assistant is responsible for getting patients ready for their examinations, recording patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR), and supporting healthcare providers during medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures. This role also involves educating patients, managing specimens, and ensuring that the clinical area is clean and well-organized. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or its equivalent, along with prior experience in a healthcare setting or medical office. A professional certification such as CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA is highly desirable.
