The Medical Assistant will perform clinical duties such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting surgeons with minor office procedures and wound care. Additionally, the role involves administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and updating patient medical records. Candidates must hold a certification from a national agency such as AAMA or NCCT and possess current CPR/BLS certification. At least one year of previous medical assistant experience and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records are strongly preferred.
