The Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in delivering in-home design consultations aimed at informing homeowners about various home improvement options. This position is centered around conducting consultations, generating project estimates, creating tailored designs using specialized software, and finalizing sales agreements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-scheduled in-home consultations to discuss home improvement solutions with homeowners.
- Provide accurate estimates for projects utilizing proprietary software to create customized designs.
- Engage and educate homeowners on the benefits of proposed solutions.
- Close sales effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Travel approximately 100 miles per day to meet with clients.
- Be available for evening and weekend consultation appointments as needed.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working under a commission-based compensation structure.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Technological proficiency and familiarity with using an iPad for consultations.
