Job Summary
The role involves creating detailed technical specifications and commercial offers for photovoltaic and battery energy storage initiatives. The position requires developing pricing structures, evaluating cost components, and identifying competitive technical solutions. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to foster relationships with clients and vendors, monitor industry and technological shifts, and align project needs with various stakeholders such as clients, OEMs, and internal engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical specifications for photovoltaic and battery energy storage projects.
- Create commercial proposals including pricing and cost elements.
- Establish relationships with clients and vendors to support project success.
- Analyze market and technology trends to inform project development.
- Coordinate project requirements with clients, OEMs, and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent level of education or experience.
- A minimum of two years of experience in systems or application engineering within the photovoltaic sector or related power systems domains.
- Experience working as part of a project team.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
